Visited the bar today for a quick pre train drink after a lovely day in the town. Strange in this Covid-19 age but what can you do. Yes the Queen is not the most modern of establishments but that is not the point - it is clean, friendly, spacious and bright. Outside areas (plural) should you want them and staff who go above and beyond (having foolishly left a bag of shopping behind a sprightly fella literally legged-it across to the station to find us before our train arrived). Been before, will go again.

This hotel is in a great location and the owners are very hospitable. The rooms are clean and tidy and the breakfast was served in a beautiful victorian room. Hopefully, the continued investment will bring this hotel back to its former glory.

By the way I forgot to say,on the previous review, a touch of class regarding the massaging soap and the shampoo. I had my own shampoo and soap however the hotel soap and shampoo looked so good I took it home,it was fabulous and classy. Darren and Jamie you're both doing a good job

Can't fault this hotel, rooms lovely, clean and tidy, central location and right next to the train station (V quiet trains!). Hotel was recently bought after the pandemic (Like many out there) so no restaurant or bar - there is a Weatherspoons in walking distance so it's no issue at all Darren the owner is very accommodating and friendly, I will certainly stay again if I am in this town :-)

Conveniently situated, next to the train station (i didn't hear one, a good indicator of the window maker or brewers). Really welcoming staff, nice big room.. the bath in Room #5 is huge (it has an integrated seat). It was a continental breakfast, which is fine by me.. Only really need a couple of slices of toast to get started. My missus said the pub was a bit too noisy to sleep but guessing my snoring was the worse of it. I never really had any thoughts about Todmorden before but this stay definitely made me like it.

Interior is fancy yet comfy, barkeeper is a lovely young man. Had beers and tea, everything okay. Bathroom was freezing and the wobbly table was mildly annoying. Overall very nice, going back for the breakfast. Got a beer for free when they heard it was my boyfriend's birthday.

Very nice and cozy. Heating was on way too warn though, had 2 mains from the specials board, food was near perfect, truely wonderful. Price was at the high end 2 2 courses and 4 drinks ended up with £70. However as I said likely due to ordering from the specials board. Overall very positive with small room for improvement, such as better temperature control.
